A new survey study says, "ipad owners are 'selfish-elites'" in wired.com Interesting where the young geeks are and why they stay away from ipad. Was wondering because I noticed that quite a few had macbooks and some even brought ipad to GA. No wonder we are out of touch with many young people!!!  Angry Angry Angry trying to impress the wrong crowd, I guess...

Mmm, can't say I've heard too many sermons (or any for that matter) encouraging selfish elitism though.

Many young people, rightly or wrongly, repeat the cliche, "walk the walk and walk the talk". They see what people do and not what people talk. One youngster, my daughter, tells me that how I live and do things are my sermons. She tells me to get interesting in my sermons--she and her friends think sermons are interesting when I live the talk. Wink Otherwise, they say I am boring no matter how interesting and well crafted Sunday sermons are.
